How does Takaful Pelindung work for me?
This is a yearly renewable Takaful Personal Accident plan that ensures you are secured through trying periods in your life. |
Am I eligible for the Takaful Pelindung Plan?
You are eligible if you are between 18 to 65 years old.
How much is the contribution that I have to pay?
The amount of contribution will depend on the selected plan and the classification of your occupation. You are also required to pay RM10 for the stamp duty of the certificate. |
What are the basic benefits of this Plan?
Benefit Schedule
1. Child benefits (if elected) a. AD/PD is 20% of the participant’s sum covered and 100% for other benefits b. Non-working children aged 12 months to 18 years old (irrespective of the number of children) c. Weekly benefit is not applicable to children. 2. What is meant by surplus sharing?
You are entitled to a share of the surplus (if any) as long as you haven’t made any claim during the Takaful period. The surplus will be allocated to you by providing a rebate to you when you renew your coverage. The basis of the rebate will be determined by PruBSN Takaful in an equitable way. At the end of each financial year, if there is an investment profit, this will be shared between the participant and the company at a 70:30 ratio respectively.
